I'm living and working, temporarily, in the Edwardsville area, and want to learn about some good riding in the area. I've already been over to Missouri three times and found some fun roads there. Any fun stuff in this area?
Also, can anyone suggest a competent Honda Service shop in the greater ST. Louis or SW Illinois region?
about the closests shop that comes to my mind is ted's motorcycle world in alton IL. i know they sell both harley and honda and i'm real sure they service both. :thumbsup:
Good roads in MO start around Perryville. Highway 51, 34, 160, 19 (South of Steelville to Eminence), C (Caledonia to Davisville), Y (between C and Highway 8; really tight twisties, but the pavement is not the best). There are others futher Southwest, but I've not been on them. There is a good dealer in Belleville, IL. I live in Mascoutah, IL. If you're up for a long round trip there are great roads in AR around Moutin Home; it's about 750 round trip for me. :P Oh, just watch out for cars coming at you in your lane as folks in MO like to cross the yellow line around blind corners.
