Here's 3 pictures of how I mounted my Chatterbox GMRX 1 and XM Radio (Roady).

Used a double Stemstand #10995D ($74.95) @ stemstand.com. Flipped left side down (holds Chatterbox using clip that normally would go on helmet, also used small piece of rubber inner tube from bicycle so clip would hold tight and not slip when tightened down). Flipped right side up and mounted Roady (grey plastic holder). Roady snaps into this grey clip. Chatterbox is hot wired to bikes battery. XM Radio plugs into my BMW style outlet. Set-up has worked flawless for 2 yrs. 19,000 miles. Four of my riding buddies have the same set-up.

"I wouldn't leave home without it."

The third picture is pretty close to what I see (dash) when riding. I see everything except when tach needle goes beyond 11,000.

In the next few weeks I'm mounting my Passport 8500 x50 to the stock windscreen using a special mount/bracket. Since the stock screen is very thick strong I going to use it. I plan on painting the screen (black or matching red) on the inside. This will give it a cleaner look, hide it a little from inquiring minds, and reduce the chance of the sun light damaging any electronics/ dash do to sun light magnification. Trying to decide if it's worth leaving a small clear spot so LASER will still be picked up.

Sounds like your recommending one based on experience!

Where do you mount the XM radio antenna? And how well does it work? What kind of ear speakers do you use?

Looks like an interesting (although maybe a bit cluttered) setup. I don't know about "wouldn't leave home without it" -- maybe if leaving home everyday resulted in a several hour ride. I generally use a MP3 player for the longer rides, although sometimes silence is divine.

Also, I think the paint might affect the laser capabilities of the passport. I'd like to see pictures after you install the mount.

Does look cluttered. Guess you don't need to look at the speedo.Where do you put the GPS? :joystick:

Nice mounting ki-speed, but I would hate to be looking at the XM where it sits.
I would rather have it down where the Chatter Box sits and wear or tank bag the C/B.
