I ordered a Secdem hugger from Clary, on the 6th of Feb. Called and talked to, "Joe", on the 7th, to clarify the color I wanted. Gave my confirmation no., he seemed confused, but said, "ok".
On the 17th, I received a call, from him, stating his e-mail was screwed, and he would now charge my card, process my order, and it would take 2-3 weeks, before I would get it. He said he would call me when he got it, (then send it to me). Ok..no prob.
On the 2nd, of March, I called him. He told me he didn't have it yet, and he would call them, "tomorrow", then call me before 4pm, to let me know what's up. .........Nothing!
So I call on the 4th, WHAT'S UP? "They will send it to me within 10 days", I'm told. ( No-longer by him, he's got someone else giving me excuses.)
I call on the 18th, he will not talk to me. I'm told he doesn't have it, and he will call when he gets it.
NOW I'M F*#KING PISSED! :pissed:
Mind you, I understand if he's waiting to build a few orders, to save on shipping costs, to him. I understand if he's gett'n screwed. I understand if he may need deposit, (but he should have enough $ to process), he's got my card no.
"BE STRAIGHT WITH ME!", is all I ask.
Anyone else have this problem? Is he sticking it to me, until the statute of foreign limitations, puts me in the, " out of luck", category?
Gonn'a call tomorrow and throw a fit! GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK!!!!!!!!!!
Can anyone help me to calm down, from riding up there,....and finding myself in a canuck jail cell? Any tips on gett'n in and out, without jail? (kidding),............? :pissed:
Talk to your credit card company, not receiving the product ordered is a reason to dispute the charge. I don't know how this will work for an out of the US purchase, but you could give it a try.
If it works, it won't help you get your part, but at least you'll get your money back.
Where you ordered from: 'Quebec' doesn't even want to be a part of Canada and they find Jerry Lewis really funny. For these two reasons I'd be leery of ordering anything from the frogs. Montreal is a beautiful city though with loads nice gals.
Call your credit card company start the procedure to get your cash back. I hate crappy service like that.

I think we have some members from Ottawa, Ontario and Montreal, Quebec that maybe would have some first or second hand experience with Clary.
(assuming they haven't been pissed off by some Calgarian backwards remarks about frogs) <_<
A beautiful province but a strange bunch of folks for the most part that want nothing to do with Canada. I'm tired of French on my cereal boxes............
I obviously live in Canada and I would think twice about buying anything from Quebec. They have a different set of rules in our rogue province. Anytime you buy a lottery ticket of purchase some sort of warranty is will quite often say 'void in Quebec'. Don't know why, you'd have to ask a frog/Pepsi?
Nothing as potent as a angry frenchmen, I'll get PM's half in english half in french swearing at me.
Pretty much every shop in Edmonton requires pre-payment of special order items, but refusing to discuss things with you is unexcusable. Call your credit card company to cancel the charge and tell Frenchy you are taking your business elsewhere.

I am one of those "frogs" born and raised in Valleyfield, QUebec
I am now living in CT, couldn't take all of this BS the provincial government was dishing out. Anyway, my first language is french if you want me to call and get update/swear in a from he/she would understand, I will be glad to do so.

I called, he answered. (pinned)! He told me he would have it Mon. I'm lett'n it slide 'till then. (Really like the Secdem). He told me Secdem was having mold problems. Again, that's fine, BUT I should have been informed of that earlier.

I have one and it's great. Slight broke, back ~ 1" I had to cut off after my CompetitionWerkes fedner elim hit it ! You'll love the Secdem, what did it cost if you don't mind me asking ? Reason why, I paid about $200 US several years ago from Dynamohumm and they stopped selling them as prices went to $450 ! I did talk to Clary, he had one with a minor blem for $300 something but I blew him off. I would like to get another but... I like the color/integrated chain guard and couldn't do w.o it.

I'm sooooooo close I can taste it. Got the little slip in my mailbox, stating that my Secdem is at the P.O. Secdem,.....sounds like a disease that a brown-noser would get. " I'm sorry Mr. Jones,...but your secdem has deviated from kissing your boss's a$$." LOL. Which I fully intend on doing tomorrow, to see if he'll let me take 1/2 day. Hope it comes out ok, you'll like it. I left the cover for the brake lines off mine. I drilled 2 small holes to hold the factory brackets with fairing clips. Be carefull if you try this with the drill, start small or paint will chip bit the clip covers the small chips. I believe I modified the brackets by cutting them and bending the flaps out. I can post a pic if needed as I don't remember what I did exactly, I think I used holes that were already there just made them larger to fit the clips.
The edges are full of little "chunk-u-loids of fiber and dust, but I still love it. Gonna bitch, but I'm letting it out of my sight. ".". "Hows 'bout some $ back? LOL.
I am disappointed that you have had troubles with Clary. I have purchased twice from them (Bagster Products) and have dealt with Joe. Both transactions have yielded a neutral response for myself. With your present complaints I have decided not to purchase from Clary any longer. Anyone know of a good Bagster dealer in U.S.A.?

Thanx! The vfr decals, I designed in, "Picture It". I took the origional font, made the "V", bigger, curved the right side of it into the "F". Took it to a local graphics guy to cut out. If you want a copy of the file, P.M. me.
They are nice, me likey decals ! A friend of mine has a 98 with decals in that position and told me they are that way so people know what passed them when he goes by on one wheel !
Secdem rocks, wish I could get another for ~$200 like before, I miss that 1.5" on the back as it had a nice taper on it if you look at it from the rear. Integrated body colored chainguard is sweet. The more red you have on your bike that much faster Bro ;)
