VFR Discussion Group -> Heading to NM

I plan on taking a winding meandering ride to my Sisters House in Santa Fe Saturday 16th.

Snakeing two States Ride to Texas Creek, to Walsenburg, then up over the Highway Of Ledgends, onto Trinidad. Then over the boarder Raton Pass turn off at the bottom to Cimarron up the Canyon to Eagles Nest, Toas, Tierra Amarria and to Santa Fe.

Looking for a partner to ride some of it or even all of it with me. The Colorado Sections alone are awsome if you would like to turn back at Trinidad, for a 8 hour ride.

Have fun and be careful...The Raton area got a lot of snow over the weekend.

Looks great. Beats the heck out of I25.

Belive it or not all the snow down here has already melted, and this is a week away with 70 plus days in between so I am confident it will be clear by then, the showers predicted might present a nusance but I am prepared. Got me my farkles, got me my winter gear, ready to ride!
