I was on my way to Cincy yesterday and passed to Viffers in KY. I never see other Viffers and wondered who it was. The first sighting came around 3:00 on the Waterson (I-264) in Louisville. It was a faster red 6th Gen and I saw it around St Matthews exit. The second was a red 4th Gen, I saw it on I-71 near Sparta at approx 3:45. Was it someone from VFRD?

Alright, alright, I can't resist. I was the one on the fastest yellow 5th Gen. :pissed:

This reminds me of a story from last year just after I got my bike. I was sitting at the intersection of 14th st and 2nd ave waiting for the light, when another yellow 5th Gen drove by on 2nd ave. Surprised, I honked. So that's what I look like.

Anyway the next week I stopped at a local shop to pick up some chain lube and one of the mechanics asks if I was just there last week for a flat tire. Nope not me. Must have been the other Y2K VFR lurking around Manhattan.

2 weeks later, as I stand on the side of the road with my disabled bike @ 26th and 6th a guy comes up and says, hey is everything ok, I have the same bike. Sure enough he had a flat tire, and he saw me when he was going down 2nd ave. He gave me his card and told me to send him an email when I got back up and running again. Knowing I probably would never contact him, I told him about the little site here. Maybe I can find his card, and I'll drop him a line. Maybe, cause I'm not so organized.

So, not to hijack this thread full of not me's, but maybe, just maybe when you least expect it, you'll find them. It happened to me in this giant city of 8 million people! :o

Right, why I was disabled is another interesting story, which I'll post when I get around to fixing my computer, and find the software for my camera, which I think caused many of my computer problems.

I appreciate all of the Bastages letting me know it wasn't them. For a minute I thought it was dude but I think Honda was spelled right on the tank. Then I thought it was Squidward but the bike was together AND running. Then I thought it was kkkkken but didn't see a Hoser flag and a bottle of Wisers. Thought it was BlueViffer for a sec but it wasn't blue and the guy was ancient. Thought it was Fixer too but the bike didn't sound good enough. So the search continues.

I will going back through next Thursday on my bike, if you see me give me a wave, give me the finger, or stop me and buy me some wings. :idea3:
