I've seen that before. It's hilarious...in a sad, ouch kinda way.

I sold my 82 Sabre a few years ago, and one guy who came to look at it did almost the same thing. He grabed some clutch from my garage, realized the bike was pointed right at the car in the driveway and dumped it. They guy was dating a buddy's daughter, so it's not like I could really get after him too much about it. The bike wasn't hurt bad, just a few scratches. I ended up selling it to my next door neighbor, and he's been riding the piss out of it ever since.

Thats why I tell my friends no they can't ride my bike till I see them ride there own bike. I watch this all the time where I live, seeing friend let there other friend get on a bike and dump it ten feet later.

Obviously the individual that let him ride the bike did not check to see if he had riden before. If so maybe he would have known about a brake or clutch? DUH! :sleep: :joystick:

The rule in my family is under no circumstances is my dad allowed near any of my bikes..................This has been the rule for 37 years now and it has worked great.................The reason the rule came about was that my dad, did the same thing as the squid on the link with each of my 1st 3 bikes (he paid for them).
He rode my 1st bike, a honda S90 into a tree, my 2ed bike, a Hodaka super rat into a wood split rail fence, and my 3rd, a bultaco 125 pursang into the side of the Barn.........after that, even though he paid for them, he was not allowed to get on any of my bikes. (my mom helped with inforcement too, lol)
Hell he's 79 years old now, and when I stopped by their house a few weeks ago with the SV650 and VFR in the trailer, he wanted to try one of them and my mom and I had to remind him of the rule.............(But ya gotta love him, he kept paying for them even after getting banned)
