In the aftermath of today's loosing battle with an idiot in an SUV, David is in need of new plastic for his 5th generation VFR. I've already hit eBay and there wasn't anything there (although there was a 3rd gen cowl cover if anybody is interested. They used to be tuff to come by...).

Does anybody have any other sources for bodywork that is affordable?

Wow, their website has change tremendously since I last stumbled across them. But the link for OEM 98-01 VFR parts doesn't work. Guess I'll have to give them a jingle tomorrow. Thanks for the input!

Yes, the site is all-new and it seems that not all of it is up and running yet.

Any other places for bodywork? Anybody? Used is okay. Been tracking on e-Bay also, but their might be other places...

i've got a spare front fairing off of a '98 vfr. it has some minor road rash and one of the tabs is broken. i can have pics taken and uploaded later this week. if you're interested, make a reasonable offer.

Alright, dammit. Somebody had posted another online source for body work in another thread and after searching for half an hour I can't find it. Probably operator error.

Anyway, if memory serves (which it obviously doesn't) it was a two word name on the site, I want to say a persons name. Some of the prices were pretty good, others were nearly the same as Honda.

Anybody know what I am looking for? I have an 1800 dollar check burning a hole in my wallet...

AirTech? SharkSkinz?

Ron Ayers? ronayers.com They're just like Service Honda, Dynamohum, etc. They buy from the place that poops Honda parts, same source as your local Honda dealer, but their prices are usually significantly better via volume and Internet, etc. I imagine that if you were to order a front fairing from any of those three...actually four, counting the dealer, the wait would be the same...nobody is actually stocking 98 VFR fairings. So, there's no magic to it....place your order with the cheapest vendor and.....wait.

Most stuff on eBay is going to have some rash or broken tabs, etc. I've seen very few virgin items there, other than a left side I got last August.

Ron Ayers!!! That's it!! Man I'm a dumbass sometimes. I'll book mark it this time! Dynammo Humm is looking like the cheapest of the bunch. I'm prepared to wait, just want my viffer back up to snuff!

Thanks Trace!!!
