Metezler has reduced the price of M1's 26% with the relese of the new M3's, but these are the cheapest prices I've seen and they clain free shipping on order's over $100 so that should be $161 to your door. That's $21 less than the set I just got from SWmototire. fing02.gif

Metzler racetech rear at RonAyers.com is $167.14, and the front is free ($25 shipping) when you mail your reciept and form to Metzler... best deal right now for what I've heard is quite a good track/sticky street tire.

This has been going on for about 2 months... and there are still 300 tires of the original 900 left. I'm gonna try to order here in the next week when I get some money for teaching this weekend.

You gonna buy and scrub them in for Jennings??? beer.gif

Honestly after trying 3 different models of Metzler I wont make that mistake again. They have been a constant dissapointment to me. You say the same for the Michelins I love but it seems the road is never strait in Tenn, where as I have to ride a bit to get to the twisty.

I agree, the M1s are one of my least favorite tires, right after the B014s.

I've purchased a whole heck of a lot from Motorcycle-Superstore. They have good service, and definately the best website around. Decent prices as well.

The link will work if you spell Metzeler correctly.

I'm a product of public edjumakashon... biggrin.gif

Suprised to see people rippin' on M1's... I've done many thousands of miles and probably 6 track days aboard them and I've only been let down by one rear that was a little slipperier than I thought it should be.

Metzeler and Pirelli are the same group now, and the Super Corsa is my favorite track tire (D208GPA UK being a close second)... I'm assuming the Racetek to be very close to the supercorsa.

Knee down antics start in 5... 4... 3... wheel.gif

Man, I dunno how you guys can have problems with the M1s. I've run a few sets, and done a couple of track days on them at thunderhill raceway sans problems. I'm not terribly fast, but have done sub 2:13 laps on them without slippage on the f4i. Fyi, 600 fastest lap is 1:55 for those who don't know the track, and the slowest guys in 600 crashfest class are high 2:teens. But I do understand that if you don't have confidence in a certain tire/brand then you're never gonna feel comfortable on them. Just like me and dunlop!
