Now we just have to find the best price on the rear Strada...

already took advantage of that. local cycle shop charged me 130 for the tire, tax and mounting. throw in a free tire (25 dollar shipping) and i did pretty good i feel. dont wait to long to do the deal though. the original reciept needs to be in their hands no later than march 11th. so getting one mail order is getting tight for time. and ......

no canucks allowed

"Entries are only accepted from residents of the United States and Puerto Rico. Residents in HI, AK, and PR are responsible for any additional shipping charges"

Funny how it is Pirelli North America doing this, yet they exclude Canada completely from the promotion. Maybe us Canucks need to stop buying Pirelli altogether....

In general, or just this deal? goofy.gif

Best price I've found is $119.28 shipped from americanmorotire. Dennis Kirk shows 10+ in stock and will beat this by a buck. Anyone found a better deal?

I'm a Southwest Moto fan, but I got my single Strada rear at American Motorcycle Tire. Southwest usually beats everybody when buying two or more, but AMT looks like the best for singles.

I paid the extra $1 and bought from AMT because they have the balls to advertise their lowest price, but that's just me.

Make sure you read the terms and conditions, it says you must order from a Parts Unlimited Dealer.

"Each consumer must list the dealership where they purchased their qualifying rear Diablo Strada tire: You must purchase your tire from a Parts Unlimited dealer. "

Looks like my local Honda shop is a dealer, I'll give them a call on Tuesday and see what the deal is.

Went down this road before. Get em early and send in your form asap. Pirelli reniged on their offer with me when they had this deal going a couple of years ago on regular Diablos. I was pretty angry at Pirelli over it and posted my complaint on the various web boards. I wasn't the only one. I've gotten over it and recently bought a set of Stradas. Good tire. Just keep in mind that their supplies will be limited.

Me, I'll probably hold off and not participate in this offer.

Yes, and thank you to whomever posted. Get em as early as possiple. I recomend signing up your sister and all her friends. This is the single BEST deal on a SET of tire anywhere hands down!!!

Get em while they be hot..and do not say we did not warn ya!

I wonder if http://www.americanmototire.com/ is a PU dealer?

Don't know if they are, but Dennis Kirk is and they beat them by $1. Not a big deal on the $1, but I feel safe on the free tire deal and will have the rear at my door by Wednesday.

Thanks. I just place my order through Dennis Kirk as well. With the $25 shipped front Pirelli promo + the $129.61 matched Dennis Kirk shipped price, it saved $126.37 over ordering the front and rear fron Dennis Kirk at their advertised prices! fing02.gif

AMT doesn't show as a dealer on the PU web site, but Southwest Moto does. Find someone close who needs a tire, or just order 2! $243.90 delivered for 2 180 rears.

Anyone that sell Metz or Pirelli has to be a PU dealer! Its the only way to get the tires here if you want to sell them!

ProMed, Feb 27 2006, 01:56 PMLooks like the Strada is being phased out?  On the main pirelli site there is no mention of the strada, only the sport demon where it once was.  Plus next to the Diablo they list the scorpion sync.

what site are you looking at? here is pirellis main site

Looks like they may be getting phased out because they only show sizes for the rear with an *close out. If so it's a shame because I love these tires. My rear has 6,000 miles with a little left in it.
