Tire Shop in Colorado Springs?

Hey COS Riders:

I'm thinking of ordering tires from one of the internet sites and need to know what tire shop you guys are using to change and balance your tires. I called around today out of the Yellow Pages; the small shops I talked to directed me to the local dealerships -- rather not go that route if I don't have to.

I've read through the VFRD posts about DIY; honestly, I'm not inclined to buy the tools and do it myself.

I'm also in Denver fairly frequently, so I could remove the wheels and drop wheels/tires off somewhere.

Pueblo would be OK, too if there's a good shop down there.

Thanks.

You might talk to Slammer, he does his own tires. I just got new ones from APEX and they weren't really bad at all. Less than $300 out the door for the tires, mount and balance....I'd rather someone else mount them. They know what they are doing better than I do.

Hey VFR FLYER: Thanks for the heads-up on the www.lithiummotorsports.com deal. I just checked it out -- $210 for the set plus $17.15 s/h to Colorado Springs. Total deal is about one beer cheaper than swmototires.com at $231 delivered. beer.gif
