Where can I find these? Does anyone still carry them? I know they stopped producing them, but there have to be a few out there. I need two front fairing stays/headlight buckets, two RS and two LS engine covers, and would like brandy-new parts.
check your dealer. i know those particular parts are discontinued from honda canada. ebay is your friend, you'll still find these on there - slightly used ones. i found a fairing stay and just sandblasted it and powdercoated it - looks just like new.

I saw this add in my local (Greenville, SC) paper today. I'll quote the add exactly:
"Honda VFR 750/500 Interceptor '83 parts bike $499. (864) 985-1774."
Well, I bit the bullet and ordered a fairing stay from my dealer, for $210. That's after a friendly discount, too. sad.gif Oh well, I wan tthe thing to look brand new, so some money will have to be spent! I was hoping to get two, but it looks like I'll be using the new one to make a straightening jig for the other two I have comp13.gif
I'm going to restore to as new-as-possible condition my '83, which has 2,995.7 original miles on it, and do a decent resto on the '85, which has about 25k on it, to a slightly hot-rodded condition. It already has a K+N, and Dynojet jet kit(also had F1 Cobra slip-ons, but they got crunched when I went down on it), and I would like too add (Accel?) coils and wires, F2 wheels, and upgrade the suspension a bit.
I love those lumpy motors, and I'm already riding them in my sleep...

Just bought a 1983 VF750F with 24,000 miles. It runs, but I am replacing a cam and adding the DRP bolt-on oil mod. I also have a 1984 VF1000 motor in good shape I would like to trade for a 750 - or use parts? Are the carbs interchangable?

yep, they are great. i've had several orders from them. some of the 84 parts are now discontinued, as i'm sure other oldies are too. grab'em while you can.
note: just talked to them the other day, they'll no longer ship parts to canada due to the handling/prep charges by the shipping companies. doh! too bad.
