I am the recent proud new owner of a 86 interceptor
I just got done replacing the stator/alternator,rectifier,clutch,
air filter(K&N or coarse) ,adjusted the valves, new plugs(NGK)
my question is before doing this there was no flat spots in the powerband .........
when buying it the guy said something about mabey being jetted wrong for my area of the country
I also have kerker header on it ...........
I have a flat spot around 5-6thousand RPM wile driving then takes off like no tomorrow ,,,,,,,,
I can cure it by driving in olny first and second around town
does this sound like jetting issue ?????????
or just to keep the RPMs up
thanks for any help !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
