It's bad enough without a fender on a regular bike. I'd like to see some fool ride that thing about 30 miles on a dusty highway when it starts raining!

I believe hes right. I see some lines of the other 3 headers going to the other side. Im curious the feet/shifting aspect of it. I think I see footrests, but Im not even sure what Im looking at.

That is probably the dumbest thing I have ever seen. WTF is that? An inline air cooled 3 cyl with a steel tube frame and WTF kind of fork does it have: electronic joy stick controlled, and has a stretched busa drag racing swing arm.

yes it is weird, BUT to be a R&D goo-roo (sp?) and have the machine, knowledge and ability to design some unique and exotic. Hats of to him for trying something different. Think OUTSIDE the box.

NOW, on a different note; to agree with Hoopster....i too hope that moto's dont change to only that type. wheel.gif

Looks just like a whale. I wonder how intuitive the dual joystick controls would be. An inline six would make for a really wide bike, wonder what the reason behind that choice was.

As painful as it looks, I wouldn't mind tryng out that ride for a quick spin just to see if it works. But I better stay away from the ocean side roads and big cats, lest I want to get harpooned or ambushed.
Oh well, It's definitely a wide eyed, new, fresh out of school, amature designer attempt at a concept bike.
Reminds me of my days in the School of Architecture, so young, free thinking but totally clueless! goofy.gif

Definitely a 6cyl, and it's not that unusual to have the 'bars the same distance from the ground as the seat - standard fare for racebikes, and most road-going race reps are similar. Worst I've seen for it are RGV250, MV Agusta F4, ZX-7R.

The concept is not all that original, I saw a similar looking bike mock-up some years back which IIRC was done by a Spanish design student. It had the same horn-style handgrips, as it was inspired by a head-down bull.

Not a great touring bike. Also, it leaves skid marks on the passenger's pants.

I think it looks good, if they got rid of the joystick controls. I'd test ride it.

BUT........for all the exhaust guru's out there, It is interesting to see Supertrapp exhaust tips on the bike, I wonder why nobody here has tried those out on their bikes? Would work on the stubby type of under-the-engine pipes OR trick underseat exhausts. idea3.gif

Yeah but with no weight, low drag and a 6cyl it should go like a bat out of hell! Probably can't stop it or turn it but what a rush it would be, and with that extended swingarm (or appears to be extended could be an optical illusion) it shouldn't wheelie to bad biggrin.gif

Title is misleading. This isn't a prototype. It's a design project. This pic is at least a couple of years old.

Yes, that's a 79/80 Honda CBX1000 6 cylinder aircooled motor AND frame. Also appears to be a Hawk 650 front/rear suspension attached to it sans shock. Ironic; I've owned both bikes and if I combined those two I certainly wouldn't use the cbx frame! LOL

TIP: if you do fancy a cbx, get a runner not a project bike. Parts are limited and/or NLA with correspondingly outrageous costs for an asian bike. I've seen NOS tanks and exhausts go for $4500 a piece! on ebay.

So stop bitching about how this bike wouldn't be great to ride...it's just a design concept...not a lot of real-world use...
