Local Prices For The Saturn Clips For Fairing

The price for the plastic clips from Saturn is suddenly $5.80 Ea. It wasn't much more than a year ago it was just over $1. What happened - are prices up all over, or is just the two dealerships closest to me figured out they needed to make more money on the little stuff?

At that price, buying 100 for $19.20 from the fastener warehouse (their price is down!) Saturn Clips from Fastener Warehouse is a bargain, even with shipping!

It seems the Saturn stealers got wise and jacked up the prices. It happened well over a year ago here. On the other hand, once you get the hang of the stock clips they really are easy to use. Really, they are. I still have three left from the stash of four Honda clips I bought when I bought the bike (in '02). Once the stock clips and I made friends everything went great.
