Just my opinion...
Wine makes the bike too elegant and too heavy.
The Retro style is nice but seems too retro for this kind of bike (makes me tired easy)....could be very cool on a 750 instead.
Both seems home-made paint...a professional designer touch is missed here.

I do like the retro graphics. Not sure if I would purchase it but still a very cool look.
As for for the wine color... I agree with paperino. It does make the bike elegant and heavy...but then I kind of like that. That is one of the great things about the VFR, looks can be very deceptive.

Scary! I've been seriously considering adding a classic Interceptor to my stable. (The VFR is getting lonely.) To see this retro style is way cool.

I like it. I think it works. I'm not sure it would appeal to the CBR set like it would to "our" set. I guess that makes the color choice even smarter.

Who knows? Maybe RWB scheme will help sell more VFR's here in the US. That would be a good thing, indeed.

PS: Where does on go on the net to get more info about the 07's? I checked the Honda site but could find nothing.

Being the VFRD Idiot... I dig the wine color smile.gif The RWB is nice too, but not for me. Maybe I'll trade later next year. At the rate I'm racking up miles on my 06, it may become a necessity.

I like both. Neither comes close to the beauty of italian red though.

I'm not crazy about the retro paint scheme on the 6th gen bike...on the other hand I really like the new red, it looks classy. I have actually been contemplaiting re-painting my bike that exact color for some time...my other two vehicles are that same color ('00 Tundra and '06 Acura TL), then they could all match! fing02.gif

If the RWB colors were available when I bought mine, I would have done it.

I like both. On the retro bike, I would like to see the wheel edges polished like the original Interceptor 500.

The wine red gives the Interceptor a classy look. Just depends on what you're looking for.

I like em both, but when the hell are they going to upgrade the bike and do something new with the motor, suspension etc... ? This bike has been unchanged for the last 6 years except for the vtec engagement point and color scheme. Woopdy frickin' doo!

I like the Red, White, and Blue - the retro paint reflects the bike's heritage.

Lukewarm to the Burgundy - reminds me of a Yamaha. Yamaha did a lot of Burgundy bikes.

I like them both, the RWB is a cool retro look and the wine color has a bit of class to it. One looks racey, the other toury (yes that is a word). biggrin.gif

[font=Courier New]I like the RWB but not the Wine color. I may be biased due to owning a 1983 CX650TC which had RWB paint scheme. It also had polished/chromed/silver(???) Comstar wheels so a set of polished rims on the new bike would set it off. Maybe a set of white rims, check my pics.[font=Courier New]

Retro colors don't fit on a futuristic looking bike, imho. Like the burgundy however.

Love the Red/White?Blue! Reminds me of my '85 VF500F. I like the burgundy, too, but like RED better!

Gotta agree with paperino on one thing - the RWB would wear quickly. Maybe chromed wheels would be the necessary touch to lighted the look.

OTOH, I really like the burgundy.

The wine color belongs on a Goldwing or some other big limo touring bike. It makes the VFR look like "Rich Corinthian leather". They should have Ricardo Montalban do a commercial for it!!

I don't even like the burgandy on the ST1300. Too old school. Reminds me of the burgardy interiors that GM had during the 70's and 80's.

The people at Honda must have their heads up their butt.

I must say that I do like both color schemes but would LOVE to see the retro one with white rims, then it would look REALLY hot! fing02.gif

Cant help it, child of the 70s..... grew up on red honda dirt bikes with gold-yellow
emblems on the tanks.... remember the cool red cylinders on the CRs of the era...?.

I really like the new retro look. Add white wheels (8 spoker in the back?), a red front fender and you have the most tempting reason yet to buy a sixth gen, IMO.

The Wine is nice too, a bit more polished and sophisticated looking - I'm sure it'll look even nicer in the sun. Regardless, I'm just glad to see Honda bringing some more colours to the US....(nothing wrong with RED - it's quick and all - but you guys are everywhere wink.gif )

Love the Retro! "These colors don't run". Well, actually they run real dang fast! Love it, and may have to actually BUY one (instead of being, ahem, between bikes).
