But....ahhh....lotsa unknown work for questionable gain. I was thinking on tinkering with a set of heads at a minimum, tho. Dunno.
Kevin--just this minute got done watching the vid you sent me of your Jennings races. Very cool. I wish I knew how to race....bikes. The camera worked very well, reasonably steady and clear. (IMG:style_emoticons/oldemoticons/fing02.gif)
Seems to me you should have them hosted somewhere, or at least a piece of them, so VFRd can see your activities on your racebike. (IMG:style_emoticons/oldemoticons/idea3.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/oldemoticons/wheel.gif)

I like the tighter stuff better as well. I will push harder on tight slower sections because your speed is lower in the event of a crash. I would rather crash at 25 than 95. I also love those 180+ degree switchbacks the most, because you can see all the way through them and go 10/10ths and still ride within sight lines.
What is this doing in southwest anyway?

Just takes experience, come out to a track day and ride novice. You will learn more in a single day than you learn in a year riding the straight Florida roads.
