Charlotte Area Vfrd Meet

When do you guys want to have the meet. The first weekend in november may be best. Lets get some opinions and well let FIFEDOG lead this one.

NORTH TO VIRGINIA

Maybe 4th and/or use the 11th as a back-up? Either direction sounds good. If the guys around Winston-Salem/Greensboro/High Point show interest, we could try VA and make it easier for them to join in. ncpaul2, VFR666, jailer,jev etc

The weekend of the 4th and the 18th are not good for me. But certainly do not change a ride date on my behalf. This is becoming a bad time of the year for me, so I'll show up if possible.

I would absolutely love to ride with you guys. Sundays are better for me but I can ask off for sat. My grandfather commited suicide 10/09/06 and I did not get back into town until sat night. Sorry I missed the ride hope every one had fun and stayed safe! till next time.

Heres an idea. Sat. nov the 4th. meet at exit 28 off I-77 in cornelius. Take a norhtern route to shady valley tn. Eat lunch and play around. Head home via virginia and end up on i-77 above statesville. This would give some people a break, for most it will be farther. This would be an all day ride and would require a decent start time. Let me now what you think and I can post more.

I believe these would be all new roads to most of you guys. Hope for good weather. If you dont have winter gear, buy it.

Sounds good. I think you mean Nov 4th. This will be after the time change. Starting earlier would help.

Yeah it's getting to be that time of year, when it's dark at 5 pm. We would need an early start to do the whole route. Of course early starts are alot harder when the mercury falls.

Soichiro dejavu again Sunday I took 18 from Lenoir to Gaylax Va my friends parents have a trailer this side of fancy gap. We hit a few twistys before eating in Gaylax it got dark realy quick so we came home I-77 Elken 421 Willksborro. No Shaddy Vally but very close. I'm in for Nov 4

Sounds like a good idea,but we should all be flexible when it comes to weather.

P.S. Brain you and Amit should team up for a major road sweep.
