Red Seat Cowl Part Number, Please Compare With Yours If You Can

So i found a red seat cowl with the part number 77220-mcwa-d000 on it. i dont want to get it if it doesnt fit on my bike. i have a 2001 5th gen thats red.

Can anyone please check and see if there seat cowl has these numbers on them?

part number for a red seat cowl for the 98-01 models is 77225-MBG-000ZB

I think the one you are looking at, is probably not for a VFR

i put the number into servicehonda.com and nothing came up. are you sure it is a honda vfr part?

never mind, they only seem to have 2002 and newer. just for ref, that part number is:

77215-mcw-a00za

That's a Vtec cowl 02 and up, I think the "A" in "MCWA" might stand for asphault. unsure.gif
I'm holding one in my hand with 77220-MCWA-D000 off my Vtec.

i havnt paid yet.

no, its a completely different animal

unless someone can say different. i am going to try and not have to buy it. if i have to i will be selling it real soon. this is all bad research on my side.

any recourse based on teh fact that the description is incorrect? It will NOT fit on any VFR...... blink.gif

I have a red one I can sell you. I bought it off ebay for a 2002 model. It does not fit. I was planning on putting it up on ebay soon. I am pretty sure it is for a 5th gen and can get you some odel numbers if you are interested
