I decided that my bike isn't fast enough. So, this sping/summer, I am taking a racing course. My local race track is 5 minutes away from where I live, so I want to take advantage of the 3 or 4 trackdays they have every year, but not buy a bike for that, nor wreck the red fairing on the bike. Because of an incident that happened last summer, I already have the right cowl and the rear cowling, and I have a friend who owns a body shop. I figure I can probably find a left side, front fairing and a gas tank for a couple hundred bucks if I am patient enough.
So, here are my 3 questions:
1. Suggestion for a colour scheme? I liked the Honda Wing that was posted here some time ago.(white bike and red wing), I can't find the picture anymore. I want to have some red.
2. Is there a cover available for the clutch?(racetech?)
3. Has anyone covered the holes for the headlight, tail light and signal light?

Yeah, I did that as a "beta test" with spray paint and bulk vinyl from the local graphics shop. I wouldn't recommend this method for street plastics as it's not durable enough (especially gas splashes on the tank) but would be fine and cost effective for track items.
