Is this a similar product to the PC III type of injection modifier?

Yes, but it doesn't use downloaded maps. You can adjust three injection modes by richer or leaner. Supposed to be less prone to failure than the PCIII.

THanks - I went to the website - but I guess I'm a loser as I couldn't see where this specific product was described. Side comment - I hadn't heard that PC III's were prone to failures - anyone suffer this issue with a PC III ?

The instructions give the best explanation on how it works...

I added a used one to each of my vtec's. The 4 cylinder model works on, well, any 4 cylinder engine whether it be a mighty V4 or a pathetic IL4. Thumbs Up! You can DL the instructions for installation and tuning from thier website to answer most questions about the concept and how they work.

Great bang for the buck and you don't need a laptop, just a tiny screwdriver to tune. They totally eliminated the 4.5k flat spot and smoothed out the vtec transition greatly.
