First Vfr Group Ride In Georgia

Ok, So when do we want to try this. Supposed to be 68 and 30% chance of rain this saturday. Any weekend is probably good for me. So what is it going to be? And where do we want to go?

Hmm, with just headhunter being interested, i guess im not going to do a "group" ride this week. come on Atlanta riders! Tell me when you are free. Headhunter, ill definately be up in the mtns Saturday. I'll send you a pm if im not going off with my parents for a ride! My dad is nervous around groups...

Our plan is to ride to Dalonega early (8AM) and run around hwy 60 for the day. Probably three of us in our group max.

Enjoy the 70 degree weather and watch out for gravel on the roads. I was on the Richard B. Russell on Tuesday and it seemed like there was a lot of gravel on the road.

Same with the 129 end of 180. There was snow there last week. fun stuff. Headhunter, look for a guy on a yellow y2k with costum pipe. I have accidently met up with him twice in the last month or so up there. He is a cool guy and can ride! You would like his pipe too!

I wish I didn't have so much crap to do from being out of town for the past two weeks and having our quarterly meetings t work next week....I just know that I am going to hate not getting more done when mid morning rolls around and it is obviously a gorgeous day here!

I came back from Gatlinburg in the Odyssey with the fam' the day after Christmas. we "had" to go through the Dragon because New Found gap was closed...I was having withdrawals even in the snow.
