I think I will be going down with some others from another forum on Saturday morning, but not staying the night there. Hope to catch you there.
As of right now, my plans are to be there on Friday when the doors open. Just trying to beat the crowds. goofy.gif

I'm planning to be there Saturday afternoon as well.
Prolly take the whole family.
My wife is beginning to contemplate riding cool.gif so I want to expose her to the bike scene.
The show is the best venue for that.
We have a bus load going down from the Boston Area..........Mostly BMW guys, but my son-in-law and I (both Viffers) will be along.............
I'll be there Sunday afternoon... Anyone going on Sunday can feel free to call me to set up a rendezvous.

So, who went? Pictures???
Wasnt even worth the admission fee imo. schla15.gif
The show just hasnt had the same excitement from years back as it used to. Hardly anything new from the manufacturers, and the vendors seem to be just your run of the mill Joe Schmoes selling no-name bargain gear, as well as seeing twin and even triplet sellers all selling the same exact no-name stuff. I mainly went to the shows for the "gear shopping experience". Seeing and trying new gear, plus seeing the latest offerings was always great for me. But it seems like all the old vendors with the great and innovative gear that used to appear at the show no longer go. sad.gif
Oh, it was also on the upper floor, which of course means less space. The rider/stunt show was pretty good though.

No deals, huh?? Most everyone else I have spoken to said that the show was pretty good, but that it was just over crowded. They were going to mostly test fit some of the bikes all in one place and not really buy all of the vendor stuff, though, so I can see your point.
I was down there on Saturday, and while it was nice to have all the different bikes in one place, it was crowded and the vendor selection sucked. Iwent down there for a few reasons, one of them was to be able to try on Sidi, Oxtar and Alpinestars boots back-to-back. There were no A* boots to be seen anywhere, and the lone vendor that did have (very few!) Sidi and Oxtar boots looked at me like I had five heads when I told him I needed a size 48/49. pissed.gif
If it wasn't for the good company of my fiance, and Martina, I would have left there feeling a bit bitter, having spend the entree fee for that. Idid pick up a gallon of Repsol oil that came with a free Nicky Hayden shirt and poster(which, by the way, was the ONLY Nicky sighting in the whole damn place)!! Yamahahaha had Rossi's bike on display, you would think Honda would have brought the world championship-winning bike along to gloat??
On a more positive note, both the 07 red, and the Anniversary Ed. VFRs had people crowded around them all day long, and they seemed to be getting a very warm reception. Also, as an HRCA member, I was entitled to a free pin depicting the red/white and blue Interceptor! fing02.gif
Here's a few pics, I haven't finshed uploading all of them yet:

SEB,
I'm glad you enjoyed the show at least a little.
I was totally dissapointed.
This was just a shadow of the show in 2002 when I first saw the current Viffer.
There was very little to see and too many people trying to see it.
I went on Sunday with my son.
At least he enjoyed it.
Here is my son on an FJR:
[image: 4fe3035484.jpg]Here, he takes a rather fuzzy pic of me. The FJR is a comfy mount and sporting some nice panniers. Looking closely, the lady in the back is sportin' some nice panniers of her own wink.gif [image: 97937837c7.jpg] Great pictures. I wish I could have gone down. I ended up selling my ticket to a friend at the last minute because I had to help my grandfather. Thanks for the pictures.
