I do this route every time I ride to work.
Today. I was especially in a hury, because my Sargent seat was waiting at home (IMG:style_emoticons/oldemoticons/beer.gif)

Anyway, we should plan some rides with the other folks from around NYC closer to April (or March - this global worming is a gem (IMG:style_emoticons/oldemoticons/goofy.gif) )

Is it just me, or are there a lot more New Yorkers on here now than there were a year ago??
#9
Wow its still riding weather up there. Nice. Past couple years its been warmer longer. No complaints here.

I'd like to personally thank the state of NY for not going the way of California for the time being, on the subject of emissions. Now that we've successfully shifted the jet stream, it may be time to put a foot down though (IMG:style_emoticons/oldemoticons/goofy.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/oldemoticons/rolleyes.gif)

I live in Brooklyn have a 99, my son has been borrowing my bike as his needs repair work on his 2000 cbr. He works on wall street and he parks under fdr highway. We ride all year long. This year so far has been a piece of cake. I have to use my bmw while we wait for his parts from ridenow.

Rice was just asking me if I was your son. Err... I mean if your son was me... Ah, If I was the person parking the red 5th gen under the FDR.

Now with all us NYC folk, can we get together some good rides. For the first few months I had my first VFR the only twisties I found were on the Central Park Drive from 3-7pm on weekdays. (IMG:style_emoticons/oldemoticons/goofy.gif)

I have also noticed a 2006 pearl black VFR under the FDR on occasion. Someone needs to carry a www.vfrdiscussion.com post-it and get him/her on here too! (IMG:style_emoticons/oldemoticons/fing02.gif)

One more New Yorker chiming in. I have a red 5th gen ('98) along with two Ducatis. I keep them all in Dutchess county in the off season and live in NYC during the week. I usually attend tuesday nights at the Ear during riding weather (usually on my Monster which I keep as a city bike). I was at the top of Perkins drive on Saturday, there were two other vrfs there both 6th gens, one red and one white. Was this any one here?
