I've got one design together that I'm kind of diggin' on. A very rough photoshop is in my gallery. (The Honda at the bottom will be the factory font and placed a little differently.) I'm thinking of the reflective red and black, so the bike is a bit more visible at night. Again, just thinking outloud. I might mess around with some other design ideas this weekend.
Anywho.... Do any of you guys & gals have experience with any of the following companies?
xtremedecals superbgraphics (still waiting on samples!) modernimagemoto (awesome website, prices seem high.) tapeworks (sent samples lickety-split, but prices seem high.)
Are there any others that I may have missed? Is there any reason to NOT go to a local decal shop for these? Most decal shops will have a long-term vinyl for signs and truck lettering and offer the same stuff all these companies do.
I would really like to go ahead with some graphics, but I don't want to spend $300 on them.

Don't have any feedback on the decal companies but I like the look of your design. Looks like she's about to fly! Make sure you post your end product and feedback on who you went with. (IMG:style_emoticons/oldemoticons/fing02.gif)
I've gotten several decals from xtremedecals and liked their stuff. Their return address was in Malta IIRC, but I got my stuff within a few days of ordering.
I dont like it in red for your bike but would love it in a little darker shade of silver/grey than your current silver on your bike. Than it would look like ghost graffics. Just my taste.

I also saw in the back of the latest Cycle World magazine, that they are now making "hawaian flower" decals. Weren't you asking about that a while back?

I think Fotomoto did the same design you have in your gallery on his last vtec, but IIRC, he bought a sheet of material, and cut the wings himself. It's probably not too hard to do, if you make a template. Use some big poster paper to make the templates.
PM Throttlepimp. He sent me a PM saying he could do just about anything (chrome, reflective, etc.) as far as decals/stickers go. Send him your picture and see what happens.
Disclaimer: I have no idea what he's capable of and haven't ordered anything from him.

IMHO. You get what you pay for. A local guy, using your design, has not compensated for the radaii of the bike. (Once you put it on, it MAY not line-up.)
Yeah, I really dig the flowers. BUT... I think it will be TOO much and won't be too cool for my hubby when he hops on my bike. Granted, it would deter him from riding it.... but, I love him and wouldn't want to deny him. (IMG:style_emoticons/oldemoticons/biggrin.gif) (*aaawwwwhhhhhh*) I did contemplate the solid color flowers in silver or white for a ghost effect, but I want more color than that. Life's too short to be monochrome. (IMG:style_emoticons/oldemoticons/491.gif) On the other hand, I don't want TOOO much color. I guess it's all about balance, eh?
Anywho... I figured for about $40 I'll give the ebay guy a try. I'll be sure to post pics and a report for everyone. (IMG:style_emoticons/oldemoticons/biggrin.gif)
Just to throw another option out there for the rimstriping, I had pretty decent results with the pinstriping sold at www.reflectivedecals.com. I uploaded some pics in my gallery of the bike with the red reflective pin striping. It was the cheapest I found surfing around the net and I'm pleased with the results. The pin striping doesn't come precurved like some of the other kits being sold, but it wasn't too difficult to apply. If you look really close and are a perfectionist, you might spot some areas that are not aligned completely, but it wan't noticeable enough for me.
Anyway, good luck with the decals and rimstripes. Your design looks awesome. IMO the red really stands out on the bike, but in a really good way. Sorta the way it does on an RC51. (IMG:style_emoticons/oldemoticons/fing02.gif)

Depinding on what the design is the way I charge is by square foot and have yet to do a bike that cost over $300.00. Simply because a bike only has so much square footage around it. The lightening CBR was done with special reflective material with digital imaging covering most of the bike and was only $280.00.

That's how I feel about the selection of helmets on the market these days. Either solid or psychadelic. Very few with nice balance.

I'm debating on graphics as well as painting. Take a look in my photo gallery. I have decals that were put on my bike by computer to show me what it would look like and then I changed it a little. I also took the 07 model (red whit and blue) changed the blue to black. It looks great. I'm kind of leaning in the paint direction but have not done anything yet. Let me know what you think.

Decals are the way to go, for those very reasons.
Question. Does anyone know, off-hand, who sells chrome vinyl wheel stripes? Do I have to call Tapeworks, and special order? Think'n it would be way less hassle, (and more matainence free), on the silver rims, than polishing. + The fact that they would be thinner, than polishing the lips, and not be too "bling-ey".
How about a set of hondawing, only. Charcoal metalic. And the right size. Who makes them? Should i look for something thin, since it will be cleared on top of it? I like the colour on them, and I was thinking of having my wheels powder coated the same colour.
