Anybody in the Washington DC area know of any decent paint shops? I'm looking to get my red '03 painted flat black. I've found a couple places in the Arlington, VA area (where I live) that paint bikes, but I don't get the impression that any of them do bikes very often. I'd feel much more comfortable if somebody on the forum could recommend a shop they've had a good experience with.
And if you're in the DC area, we'll need to ride after I get the bike painted.
yes.. i worked in a shop called hayes racing... the owner is toby.. great paint.. but SLOW!! pay cash! take half the money.. with you.. tell him you need it the stuff... in 2 weeks.. and tell him you will pay the other half in cash.. and you will get it in 2 weeks..

No, not copying...great minds must think alike! Thanks for the tip, I'll give 'em a ring and see what happens. Besides, I'll take slow & high quality over quick & lousy anytime.
