It's a fairly easy task to strip the factory paint and have polished aluminum, especially if the wheels are not mounted and the tires are off. Just a suggestion. PM me if you want more details or check the "How to" section. The procedure used to be well documented.

If you are ready for a new set of tires, now is the time to have your old tires removed, then use Aircraft Stripper bought at most auto parts stores and the black will be gone forever. (IMG:style_emoticons/oldemoticons/fing02.gif)
