Nasty....
I don't think that is Armorall on the seat. ohmy.gif
If I was inclined to use that to sell a bike, I would be more selective in the "accessory."

I sold a Joe Rocket jacket for more than I paid for it because I had a cute girl friend of mine pose in it without wearing anything underneath. The pics were HOT, but not pornographic. Yep, sex sells EVERY time.

Can't believe the seller painted the bike. Like Daniel said above, what a shame.

I'm sure that it was droped, repaired and repainted. I know they said never dropped, but they also said carbon fiber bodywork. unsure.gif

Did those vf1000s have CF farings? and can you really buy CF farings for that model? Thats doesn't sound right.
Oh don't worry about us BR... no offense taken. I actually found it kind of funny...
Even if I had the money and desire to buy that bike, I wouldn't just because of her skanky arse sitting on it. If the seller was attempting to cash in on the "sex sells" thing, then she should have put on some skin tight jeans and a riding jacket without a shirt underneath. That would have gone a lot further! Showing it all off doesn't equal sexy!
My attitude is that they made more than one of those bikes and a better one can be found. The seller is mistaken in thinking that he's marketing this bike to a true collector. A true collector wants a bike like this in near original condition. The paint and carbon just indicate (to me) that it was repaired post-damage. I'd skip over it without ever thinking twice.
Anyone notice the old three-wheeler in the garage in the background?

I love your humor. It's becoming legendary around here.
Did those vf1000s have CF farings?they were fiberglass from the factory, as I remember... I'd be amazed if someone actually make CF replacement panels for them, as there weren't that many of them, and the bike's 20 yrs old now.
Update..

I seriously doubt this bike will sell. I bought mine for less than that, it looks better, and had an add by a knowledgable owner. While I think some bikes could easily go for more than the starting bid, they would get an add that would convince a VF buyer.
I still can believe how disturbed she looks having the picture taken. goofy.gif
