1984 HONDA VF700F INTERCEPTOR

Selling a 1984 Honda Interceptor VF700F sports bike.

Miles: 19,200
Price: $1750
Mechanical Condition: Above average
Body / Fairing Condition:Average

Pictures / Movies

Has the following upgrades:
DRP Oil Modifcation (Sends extra oil to the camshafts)
Sargent Seat (Extremely comfortable)
VF750F Side Fairings (Gives the bike an excellent look but only recommend to use them during the cooler days [Less than 70 deg F])!!
VFR800 Custom Fabricated Rear Shock !! (Enough said)
F1 Slip on Exhaust Mufflers (Sound great! Mean V4 tone!)

Maintenance has been kept up during my ownership and the motor will fire up every morning with only a few seconds of choke. I had a VFR800 shock custom fabricated to fit the VF700F because I am sick and tired of looking for a functioning old shock that isn't serviceable. Every shock I've tried to replace the original seized shock with has been in a worse condition.

I'll vouch for the good condition and running of the bike. Great looking bike! Seen it in person at his house!

Nice price on this bike, too. I paid amost this amount for a completely stock 85.

Did you stick with the same shock length when you did the 800 mod? I'm doing that mod to my 1000R right now.

Jaime Daugherty did the modification on a 2002 VFR800 shock I got for about $15 off eBay.

He frequents the forums here I believe and he would know more about the lengths than I would.

I believe it was lowered just a bit compared to stock length IIRC.

He's doing mine as well. I was just trying to get a feel for the change in geometry. He is raising mine.

I paid $1800 for my '85, back in 2001. It had 12,000 miles on it, and it was mint, the previous owner barely ever rode it and was meticulous about cleaning/maintenance. It was completely stock, so your price seems about right.
