I bought one last month. The blemish was small, low, and on the inside. True to their word you cannot see it when on the bike. fing02.gif

I've bought three screens from them, one for my aprilia's track bodywork and two for the VFR. I couldn't find any blemish on the first two screens. I just bought the third, I don't know about it yet.
#4
Do they have those really thin racing ones? blink.gif

I bought one of those, it was full of streaks that only really showed up in the sunlight, but they were all throughout the whole screen. I think it's a roll of the dice what you end up getting.

My latest "blemished" screen from ZG arrived today. Maybe I've just gotten lucky, but I've yet to see a single problem with any of the three screens I've bought this way. The new screen arrived just in time for my first real ride of the year. smile.gif

I recently bought a new perfect "overstock" double bubble on ebay. I was the only bidder and bid the minimum, $49.99, well below the "buy it now".
They closed the auction early for some reason so I got it for that. : fing02.gif

I couldn't find a store named ZG, or zero gravity.

Got a full name?

That's why I opted to buy a new Puig DB today for 63.00 Sometimes you get what you pay for. I was painting the inside of an apartment today with really cheap paint and was complaining to the person that bought the paint about how you get what you pay for, so I ordered the new windscreen with that in mind.

but its a rare case. actually the first zg outlet screen that was bad. mine was defect free as far as i could tell. sometimes spending more money is wasteful tongue.gif

Got mine from eBay too about 3 months ago.
Supposed to be "Blemished" stock.
I looked real hard for the blemish, but I couldn't find any. It's perfect!
I think they're just getting rid of overstocked items and older models that are being discontinued.

True, I was instantly reminded about how people pay for over-priced Bose stereo equipment with marginal sound quality, after being sucked in by the multi-million dollar advertising budget designed to brainwash the American public. dry.gif

Since I have only purchased two from this same vendor and bothof mine had noticable defects, I can't comment on how rare it is (100% for me).

I was looking at the Puig that Hobie just got. Haven't pulled the trigger yet but only because Puig is Danny Pendejo's manager. goofy.gif

I'll probably get over it and pick one up in the next month. Let us know how you like yours Hobie.

I hate it when that happens. goofy.gif

i bought one of those couple weeks ago. i can't find a blemish. And it came really quickly.

now, BOSE, sucks. end of story. take it from a professional. i have never met a fellow audio engineer that i respected that thought bose was worth the money. If any of you are tempted, talk to me. i will put something together that will blow Bose out of the water.

Hey wingspan.......that is the nicest 4th gen I've seen in a long time.....the dark smoke ZG really sets it off! Nice to see an awesome older bike fing02.gif and & Beck yours looks sweet too.......just something about that jet black color for me.

I ordered one and it should be here on monday, I'll post up with my thoughts/impressions. For $50 shipped to my house, hard to beat!

Thanks for the compliment. The full black treatment on Wingspan's 4th gen does indeed looks super evil, doesn't it. fing02.gif
Good luck with your coming ZG shield! Odds are working on your favor that it will be blemish free as most had described theirs. fing02.gif

I also bought one from the ZG Outlet on eBay, mine was blemish free too. Just got to try it out for the first time today. Its a welcomed upgrade from my ZG ST that came on the bike.
Anyone wanna buy a ZG ST ???

No highs, no lows. Must be BOSE!

I don't worry about a blemish on a screen, They get beat up if you ride a lot, and I don't spend much time actually trying to look through it!

Where did you buy your Puig?

Do VFRD members still get a discount anywhere?

Thanks

I got mine from IndySuperbikes www.indysuperbikes.com great customer service I'm finding out. I had to send my Puig screen back because it had the CBR600 screenprinting on it, so they are going to do a swap for me with a ZeroGravity Dark Smoke screen in its place.

So you didn't like the Puig after all?

This seller is TOP NOTCH...I bought 3 screens from them , sport touring 6th gen, first was clear and had a broken tab..was bummed..no visual problems, sent them an email and another was at my door pronto, no questions asked, no need to ship the old screen back, I liked how it worked so used the 2nd one clear was perfect for a few months, sold it and ordered a dark tint to look cool, sport touring, could not find any problems, same as new, so the guy that had streaks in his probably could have emailed for another one, very happy with zg out, great customer service...thanks, Doug
