Below is a post I made to the forum at the end of last years riding season. While I had some good interest in the bike I think the winter weather prevented a sale to a few serious inquiries.
O.K. folks, time to try another bike even though the VFR is a fantastic ride. I am getting older and want to try something more of a standard (V-Strom maybe?) Up for grabs is the last year of the gear driven cams, a 2001 VFR.
Garage kept,adult ridden and in perfect condition with just over 7000 miles!! Kept stock except for the BMW grips, throttle lock and High mount carbon Micron exhaust. (stock exhaust included) Bike is located in Illinois 50 miles west of Chicago. The first $5200 takes home an excellent ride.
