Carbonfiber ?

anyone ever used this stuff http://www.robotmarketplace.com/marketplace_carbonfiber.html do have to sand the edges after you cut or any thing and what thickness would be good for dedumboing ??????

nope. I'm sure the edges would need sanding, even with a sharp cut, depending on the stuff you got. any thickness, above say .020", should be fine.

How do YOU want it? Flush with the body? I could make you some, if you're interested.

I need a couple of small strips to stick on the edge indicated in this piccy, where my boots wear on the faring. I've tried some fake CF sheets but I need something that is not going to wear thru, and somethign I can stick on properly - btw CF sheets are hard to find down here, and when you do they are ridiculously expensive.

Any ideas ?? Maybe I'll buy some of the sheet in the link, if it can be formed to the edge? This happens on both sides of the bike so its not just 1 wonky leg smile.gif
