Well, I purchased my decals from a guy on ebay a couple months ago. The weather finally warmed up so I could apply them. So, to anyone interested here are photo's and how I did it...

I started another topic yesterday because I wasn't sure if I liked it or not. For sake of not being redundant, I deleted it upon starting this one. So, to all who chimed in... THANK YOU! After doing the rim stripes, I know I made the right choice for me. biggrin.gif
First, the guy was from ebay and I'm quite pleased. (The wing decals seem to be as high of a quality as the Tapeworks rim stripes.) I purchased two full wing sets for $40 a piece ~ one set in red and the other in grey.
I layed the wings out one piece at a time .... the red with the matching grey.

I trimmed up the red so I could use it as a cutting guide. My rottie, Duncan was supervising.. fing02.gif

Next, I layed the grey under the red, measured the distance and taped both to the mat so they wouldn't slide. (Here's my nerd moment... I make quilts and this is my cutting mat. I used the ruler and rotary cutter along the straight edges. For the curves, I used a razor blade.)

After I prepped the fairing, I layed out the wing and taped them in place with blue masking tape.

I started with the lowest wing piece. I first applied the grey, and then the red.

From there, I continued up one piece at a time... and then repeated on the other side.

Once done, I stepped back and appreciated the finished result! As you can see, I also applied the rimstripes from Tapeworks. beer.gif

I still have a few small custom decals that I am going to have made and apply. One of the decals is the RC-46 decal that one of the guys here on VFRD has on ebay. fing02.gif
Anywho, I thought this might be helpful for anyone wanting to install graphics. It's just a quickie guide, if you want more depth just let me know. Also, if you have any questions or want some pointers, just send a PM my way! I'll do my best to help out. In the meantime, I've got some riding to do! I'll keep ya'll posted with future mods!
