Where can I get a set of race plastics for an 02' VFR. I want to use it at the track and switch plastics rather than keep taping it off.
Thanks
No one makes any!
I would either hit eBay for a set of slightly damaged bodywork to use for track use or buy a set of RC51(or Superhawk) race plastic and modify it to work on the viffer. At least these bikes had side radiators too!

Why not pick up a cheap CBR w/o insurance?
Also... when are you going to Jennings? ohmy.gif
Pick yourself up an SV650 for about $2500, a naked one or S model, and put some sliders on it, then go kill it on the track.
But, I REALLY would like to see you get those RC51 parts and mate them up. Thats been an idea that many of us around here have had for a long time, but we just cant let the VFR's sit still long enough to try it.

I wanted to try out the track sometime in the near future. Would you like to go as well? I want to try out the track, I think I might enjoy it more than the street on this type of bike. It's way to tempting all the time to do what these bikes were designed for on the road. I really didn't want to buy another bike to keep in the garage, actually I might sell the VFR and get just a track bike and try and go to the track once every 5-6 weeks. I'll buy a cruiser for the street.
Get in touch with me about going to Jenning. I would probably go for two days. Sunday and Monday would be my preference.
Thanks

Don't worry about getting a track bike. the viffer might make you a little more tired throwing it around but think of the satisfaction of whooping up on a few surprised kids on sport bikes. Think of the WTF looks on their faces when a big sport/tour bike sails past them. goofy.gif well maybe you'll pass some of them. Think about how Freddy Spencer cranks his 6th gen around the track like its a rc211v.
okay, maybe an SV650 would be good.
