It is Silver on Silver Ghost Flames so go ahead and fire away on your comments and/or criticism( goofy.gif ) I will post pics for everyone sometime this weekend! Just thought I would get everyone work up before I posted any pics!!

+1.gif on the cost of paint job. I was quoted $800 to have my whole bike done, which doesn't sound bad but who knows what the quality would be like (other than the local service shop recommended it).

I thought the same thing at first, but I had the artist/painter draw the flames on the bike with a was pencil and to me, it look pretty damn sweet... so hopefully his painting is as good as his drawing!!
It is not done as it was supposed to be today and was pushed back till monday or tuesday of next week. I will be posting the pics as soon as I get the bike back!!

Total price without the bags is $2186.00... they wanted an extra $500 for them so I told them to forget it!! Good thing is... I am not footing the entire bill, just half of it due to a mishap with some soft soil with none of it being my fault (because I wasn't even there)!!

I thought about just having the bike painted to it's original state and it would have been less than $1k. Hope this gives you a better idea if you don't want any custom work done!!

You're right, but how can you criticize such a beautifully executed job?? Hmmmm, VFR 750, F4i fairing, RC30 paint scheme.... idea3.gif Reality kicks in $$$$$$.... Maybe someday!
Ok... here's the update!! While the site was down, my job was not finished because the flames did not match up when it was reassembled and they had to repaint one side pissed.gif Anway, I talked to them today and the painting is now complete and reassembly should be tomorrow morning and hopefully I can pick it up in the afternoon!!
If you guys are so anxious... how do you think I feel!! dry.gif I am ready to have it back as well!! I have been patiently waiting like the rest of you!! I have to work tomorrow night so I am hoping to pick the bike up, snap a few pics, and post them from work tomorrow night!!
I will probably get it back tomorrow just because it is supposed to rain pissed.gif

I thought the flames would be a little more subtle (more ghosty, if that makes sense?) but it still looks good. I would have left them off the rear plastic, though.
