Rear Shock

I have the opportunity to buy a Hyperpro rear shock for a 5th gen, but I want it for my 4th gen build.

Spring rate looks the same to me.

Length? Stroke?

4th gen 16.0kg spring
5th gen 15.3kg spring

I don't recall any major difference between stroke but the 5th gen length will be slightly longer (nothing drastic less than 5mm IIRC). I put a 6th gen 317mm wilbers on my 4th gen and needed to shim it up to get back to stock length. How much? I can't recall right now (grrr) but it was in the 5ish mm range. The 5th gen is 325mm.
