All but one post from the previous thread I started to investigate interest in a possible group buy for this item has been lost since the last website overhaul, so I thought I would just start a new thread.

I had contacted Franck at FSD Free Street Design several months ago, regarding a possible group buy. Due to hard drive crash on my computer, I can't recall the pricing for sure, but I believe it was over 200 euros for an undertail from them.

He recently sent me an email stating they have lowered their pricing (perhaps the email I sent which stated that VFRD members felt his product was a poor value, had some effect.)

New price is 120 Euros or approximately $166 USD or $170 Cdn.

I had given up on buying their undertail kit once I learned that rear passenger grab handle mounting bars must be trimmed to help alleviate interference problems with the light connectors. One should also know that the rear plastic undertray must be cut off near the back end, making this mod very hard to reverse. (I picked up a spare undertray from eBay for $20 a while ago in case I eventually bought the FSD undertail.)

At this new price, I will likely buy one. At the old pricing level, I had resorted to the notion that I would build my own for less and have no fitment issues.

Thought I would post up and see if there was now any interest in pursuing a group buy discount with Franck at FSD.........

Anyone?

Oh, and I'm not sure about this, but perhaps those rear lights interference issues could be easily fixed, I think, by adding some spacers to mount the lights further rearward from the panel. Can anyone who owns one verify this?

This tail piece looks cool on any 6th gen, but I always thought it looked particularly tasty on the 6th gen when paired up with the Laser pipes!

I need to do more research... but I think I am in. I was talking to Frank (or whatever the guy's name is) a while back and I think they will do a group buy, but the pricing was not fantastid. Still, a discount is better than no discount at all fing02.gif

Dutch, I guess House ordered his already. If you were in Canada, I would suggest we look at the possiblity of ordereing together to save on shipping, but it doesn'y seem too practical with only one other person.

I will order mine in the next month.

Any fellow Canucks interested in saving a few bucks shipping and ordering with me? Apparently shipping is around $60
