Decals are now officially off, folks. I liked them at first, but as time progressed I thought it was too much. So, today I removed them and thought I would share. fing02.gif

I also got the bug buster installed... oil changed... and burned out turn signal bulb replaced. fing02.gif If I get around to it, she may get a bath and wax tomorrow! biggrin.gif

While I like it, I still think it needs something. There's still a sheet of unused red vinyl and I thought about doing a "VFR" at the bottom of the fairing. In the meantime, though, I'm going to hold off doing anything until I get the Micron's installed. They are the red/black. Depending on finances, I was thinking about powercoating the rims in a shade of red to match the Micron red. We'll wait and see... wink.gif

Rather than "VFR" on the bellpan, "HONDA" ? Very tidy bike fing02.gif

I agree with you Jody, that's why I want them on the track day fairing, and just plain red for the street version. I'll post pictures of it when done.

offtopic.gif Thanks again for sending me the "blue prints" of the stripes. Very much appreciated!

Looks great! (As always). You seem to be the type to take very good care, of your toys. Now we need sudsy soapy, sexy, wash pictures! LOL.

Did the decals come off with relative ease? Keep us posted on the re-redding. (Again, if you have any qualms, PLEASE, don't hesitate).

Ok, so I was bored tonight and felt like chopping a little....

I believe tapeworks does the wing that slightly larger than the original to cover it up. If you wanted to get really exotic you could paint the radiator guards red.

With as much red as you drew it looks well ballanced. fing02.gif But I would do the HONDA letters with less bright red.

Or do the HONDA larger, but in outline rather than solid? Nice work there Dutchinterceptor!

Jodie likey! That's lookin' pretty fly there guys! The pic is making me long to get that freakin' midpipe even faster now!

The old decals came of relatively easily. Still had a couple spots of glue that were left behind, but it didn't take long to get them off.

Trav, the BB is lookin' great... even if you deem it as a factory "second". 491.gif

Trav, that's freakin' hilarious! To think that my hubby would wash a bike is hysterical. I can't get him to clean his windscreen, let alone his whole bike, or even mine. goofy.gif My bike is kept shiny and purdy... his bike sports the season's finest bug guts, baked and dried. (Really, I can't complain since he's helped me keep up the maintenance and has shown me a lot.)

As for the pics, maybe next time ... not! 491.gif
