SEBSPEED, Sep 4 2007, 07:12 PMI wonder how long it'll take them to discolor from the heat cycles? They look nice, but I'm not the type to cover a motor with stuff like that...
I had a bunch of cf on my old Ducati and being that it was high quality, it never discolored. Hopefully your stuff will endure. Looks good...
Those look like the ones sold by "Carbonadi" on eBay.de. Bought the clutch-side cover and then decided I should get the other side, too. Then I realised that, with the bodywork on, you can't even bloody SEE the other side on a 3d-gen VFR! Oh, well. Posh crash guards, then?
They are quite hand-made looking from the inside, but I guess they are still trick. (At least I didn't call them "boss"!)
Well trace I was going to get you a pair to! fing02.gif
Good. I can use them to barf into.
[[[I just don't get the whole mania for covering something with carbon fiber...either phony or real. Why cover beautifully painted aluminum with gaudy CF? Why put it on triples and around your instrument panel? I mean, when you really think about it, CF is UGLY and on real racecars it's PAINTED!!! Oh, well....maybe it's a generational thing. If I was 18 and into Fast and the Furious/NOPI/Stunta scene, I might like it...... tongue.gif ]]]
