Paris motorcycle show starts sat. sep 29.
that is when the CBR1000RR will be revealed
and theres some hope that we may see a concept or something.
you never know.


cbr1k will have new exciting color this time. (no for real.) i cant give it up but its 2 very nice 6th gen VFR colors together.
will come in 5 colors with 1 of those colors being limited production of 500.


typical lightening like 07 cbr6.

single sided "mid mount" exhaust. speculation has been that there might of been dual exhaust.



it does have a few goodies up its sleeve. :thumbsup:

i have seen the future, you to will see it sep 29.

well maybe i can wisper a few things.

aluminum kickstand
lighter weight 72 hole front rotors
lighter front brake hoses
new monoblock front calipers
4pc frame
46mm t.b.'s
lighter wheels
lighter battery 2.2lbs
larger and lighter ti. intake valves.
lighter ecu.
mpg indicator.

pretty much reads like the 07 cbr600rr press release

My "source" tells me it should weigh in about 366lbs dry and will have approx. a 20% increase in power...................

from the pic i saw when they put them on the hondanews site(then pulled a hour later) it looked like it got punched in the nose and stayed squished

Funny thing. Last week I was in my local dealer for some "stuff" and they asked me about the new VFR. Something about a V5 configuration. Maybe some more displacement. I shrugged it off thinking that MotoGP would not allow that until I remembered they were now using something close to the 800 sized engines.

Hmmmm. Wonder if.....
