After 2 unsucessful email tries to Continental, I'm turning to the forum for help.
I'm about to install a new set of Conti Road Attacks and need info on how to determine the light point on these tires.
This is for balancing purposes to keep wheel weights to a minimum.
The only mark I can find is a yellow number 56 printed on the rear tire tread about half way to the center.
The front shows a yellow D3 on one side wall.
Question is, are these marks to show the light point or heavy side of the tire or do they have nothing to do with balance?
I did mount a set of Road Attacks on my son's SV using the yellow marks as the light point but ended up using a good bit of lead to get them balanced. Could it be the yellow mark is actually the heavy point?
