I am curious as to anyone on the site who has had to have their Sargent seat recovered how much they paid? Did you do it through Sargent or go to a local upholster? I may be coming into possession of a seat with a torn cover and am just trying to get a feel for the repair costs ahead of time. :joystick:

Thanks in advace as usual.
Don't know the full details but there are some companies that do vinyl/plastic/leather repairs on the spot, try asking at Car dealerships or the Yellowpages. I guess it also depends on how bad the rip is but I've seen some pretty nice jobs done when I worked in the car biz.....

The rip goes along the left seam and then across the middle where someone had cut it. I am pretty sure it will have to be replaced because of the cut across the middle. The foam was said to be fine. Just the cover was damaged.
They recovered my seat when i crashed my bike. The guy was cool and bumped me up to the front of the line since it was just a recover job. Costed me around 100 or so... i think it was less, i can't remember. Just call them and tell them whats up. Very helpful group over there!
