I am needing to order a new fairing for my yellow vfr, I am also aware that they come painted and decaled (correct me if i am wrong) But when ordering a new fairing, how do i know what color it is from the part number? There is a "type" listed after tht part number, does this give an indication of the color? and if so, what type is yellow?

Thanks to JZH for supplying this information and hosting it on his site! fing02.gif

The Honda part numbers are explained here:

http://vsource.org/VFR-RVF_files/BHondaPartNumbers.htm

The colour code is the last number follwing the part number. Non-painted or coloured parts do not have this suffix.

Paint codes are found here:

IIRC, the yellow VFRs have the Pearl Shining Yellow, which is code Y-124P

So your correct part number will end in Y-124P

Be aware that USA and Canadian VFRs carry different decals on the lower fairings.

The Canadian ones have the "Dual CBS, PGM-Fi" crapola under the large VFR script, and the USA ones just say "Interceptor".

And welcome to the forum. I see you're in CowTown. I'm in Whitecourt.

There's a fairly large Calgary contingent. Post up in te Canada (all of it) section and maybe you could meet up with some of them. beer.gif
