Hey, there. I am looking for a reputable painter in the Seattle-Portland corridor. I need someone to paint the front cowl and the right lower on my 2004 Italian Red VFR. Apparently the prior owner didn't realize that Honda paint codes are specific to the year of manufacture. The bodywork is very smooth. The paint is too orangey. Let me know . . . .

Italian Red R157, the same as on my '89 Hawk GT and '02 VFR. Notoriously hard to match. I've read that it's also important that the correct color primer is used.
They mainly paint accessories panels for the Goldwing, but they only use Honda OEM paints. I've seen their work and it is top notch. Just as good if not better than the factory paint job.
They might be able to get some Honda R157 and paint your cowl for you.

Russ did a fix on my 2001 BMW k1200rs. minor road rash body work, then painted a panel or 2. later he painted the lids on my side cases. good match. good product. smooth. reasonable pricing AFAIK. no complaints. I recommend him.
