Anyone put heated grips on a cruiser?? Specifically a Honda Shadow 600VLX?? I have the Symtec heated grips on my VFR and love them, but they don't look like they would work all that great under a cruiser grip. I was looking at something like these:
They allow you to keep the cruiser look with the chrome end caps. The downfall seems to be the price. Instead of $30 for the Symtec's, they are $100. Just looking for some feedback. Thanks.

Not sure what they use, but some of my cruiser buddies here use em,. I could probably find out over the weekend maybe. Sounds like there might be another "closet cruiser" around................ :P

Actually they are for a female friend. I have ridden the bike though, just not something I want to ride every day. :sleep:

I put them on my VFR and love them. No need for a resistor for the right grip or anything like that.
I recommend their variable controller as these grips can really throw the heat!!!.
Unless my next bike comes with them on, I'm putting another set on it.
Call Hot grips if you are not sure whether the grips will fit the bike you are working on.
In my book the hot grips are worth every penny I spent on them.
Yeah, Hotgrips are what a lot of cruiser buddies use.......I forgot to come back to this thread after "polling" the Lynchburg square....."CRUISER MECCA".............. :rolleyes:
