The previous owner modded the rear fender. I now have no License plate light. I'm looking for a small, bright, cheap, and easy to install light to install. I don't want any grief from the "man". Any ideas?
You can find motorcycle only lights here:
http://www.customdynamics.com/motorcycle_l...nd%20SidemountsYou could also check with an auto parts store, cycle gear, Dennis Kirk etc for LED lights. Most of them should have something that would work.
There are some small LED lights you can buy which would likely do the trick. I'm quite sure these can be found all over the internet. You might want to PM Teleskier for inof as he's done some of this on his 2000. I was able to cut open the bottom of the "red" section of the tail light assembly and cut a piece of plexiglass to fit, glue that in, and whamo...license plate light.

I have a small light that is a liscence plate bolt. It shines to the side and lights up the plate. It was on when I bought it.
Here's what I've been using....
Lite'n Bolts I'm using a el-cheapo interior light, from auto Zone. Painted it, sealed the top, and put a Led bulb in it, and zip-tied it to the underside.

I'm looking into that to. My ZRX was that way. Makes way too much sense.
Autozone, now carries packs of LEDs on a wire w/resistor. I think they're like 6-10 bucks. Anything like that will do.
