Newly acquired 04" in Asphalt 11K mi. with Staintunes and Power Commander. Love the sound and ride!
Previous owner used Castrol Dino Oil.

New to this Forum and my search so far has not swayed me to using Synthetic Oils or if it is even reccomended.

On my first Gen. 87 Hurricane 1000 I was advised to stay with Dino oil to avoid clutch slippage? Sound right?

So, do the VFR's swing both ways regarding Motor Oils?
Or, is it Okay soaking previously Dino oiled clutch plates with Synthetic oil?

Any feedback much appreciated!

I'm also on a waiting list for the recall harness swap...

Hi and welcome to VFRD!

Just so you know, oil threads are far to frequent for most of us to bear. So don't take anything to personal that gets said in this one. Please use the search function on this one as there are as many "oil" related threads as anything here and they just go nuts. We just finisher another one in the last few weeks so I guess I'll just close this one.

Post up in the "Official Welcome Forum" for a more positive reaction! :goofy:

Here is the official Oil thread!
