Paint Codes For Anniversary Rwb/ Hugger Color

I may be replacing my plastics with SportRiders spare RWB plastics rather than paint mine after a recent minor accident. The problem is that my saddlebags and Hugger are still in R157 Red. Does anyone have the paint codes for the RWB scheme? Obviously the Bags will have to be blue, but I'm not yet sure about the Hugger, I'll probably go blue since I have to spray it anyway. What color would you make it?

Also, has anyone made their wheels a matching blue or red? I like the look of the white wheels a few users on here have done, but I'm not sure if I would like the constant cleaning, though.

Blue.

Still need the blue & red codes, (got chinsed, for my $35), but it matches. Don't have the white yet.

Cruzinaz. Check his pics, for rims and hugger.

Thanks! I actually checked that thread prior to posting to make sure I wasn't posting a thread you already answered. I may just let the body guy worry about matching, but it'd be nice to give him something to work with. This time I will go with my prefered body shop, not the insurance prefered shop with the color-blind paint guy...

Also, thanks for the heads up that cruzinaz has the rims and the color painted, I couldn't remember who to search for!

I've got a Rivcyko hugger in Spencer blue, it's slightly imperfect but I would trade you for your red one.

I can take pics if you want.

NOOOOOOOO!

That was sold under the strict understanding, that it would be modded. Was it that bad, or did you hose it? LOL.

Hey guys, the color we used was Ford, 1993, code 6479 altenate E, in Dupont Chroma Premier. Dupont # B9431K H The color is VERY close, and ALOT cheaper then Colorite. Gotta love those color cameras they use to match ;)

As far as the red goes, for everything I had to replace on the bike all of the red was stickers, for a helmet our red was really close but not exact. Let me know if you want that code and I'll get it in the am :fing02:

I ride to much to clean that much, but they do look great white.

Nothing to be sorry about, I planned on full disclosure anyway, and was going to send him those pics. Just tryin to help a brother out.

It's just the tail end that's a little off, could be fixed. I'm painting either way, so it makes no difference to me what I start with... and yes, I'm planning to mod a Cyko hugger, by replacing the 'glass chainguard with an aluminum replacement.

only problem is they dont tell you the color

and the one on my RWB just gives the code for the white.

another problem is that most paint shops cant cross reference these colors in their system even tho they are standard codes.
maybe my local shop didnt pay for the motorcycle codes when they purchased their color system. they use dupont. and another place around here uses PPG but doesn't have them. altho they have the PPG prophecy color scanner. so they just need a small sample and the color is probably 98-100%

Yah, but the prophet is right there. Only one complaint. The codes Honds gives, are kind of a crock. HINT. It is a tri-color. Base coat, from prophet, a mid layer using a 10% mix of base coat into the clear, then the clear.

You won't be disappointed.

Sounds expensive, maybe I'll just keep the hugger R -157 and use the red front fender to match.
hehe jk.
