While talking to my dealer today.... rumors of a 1200cc VFR ??

Some thing to compete with the Vmax is hp ?

I heard they are coming out with a new 800cc vfr. Has some crazy thing where only two valves work at low rpm's then all four kick in later. Nuts.

VFR 1200 hp vs. VMAX single dimension 1200cc hp... the comparison was about hp . nothing else... I think it would be a brilliant move by Honda... screw the 1000cc... let's go big!

Ha ha ha. You haven't been around that long, have you? The first rumor of the mythical 7th Gen VFR started in 2005. MCN photoshopped a picture of what the new VFR (1200cc) would like like based on insider information that they received:

If you really want a 1200cc V4, go look at an older ST1100 or a newer ST1300. Honda already makes a big displacement V4 in touring trim.

Is it just my skewed vision of things, or am I completely nuts...something tells me that NORMAL people aren't all atwitter about some fabled 2009 model year revamp and they are actually out RIDING. It seems like the forum rats are the only ones that could give a rat's arse about what is coming down the pipe. I sure as hell don't.
