OK, here my dyno run today. This is on a dyno that known to read low. My bike is BONE STOCK, with 2,000 miles on it. I figure it's broken in now. HP is 91.2, torque is 52.0. Here's the sheet and a video.

Thanks for posting the sheet and vids. The local Duc dealer does Dyno tuning, I think for $250. I've been very happy with Cozye's standard PCIII map but I may do the Dyno thing to really lock it in.
BTW Rusty, if 2k mi. is broken in, then my VFR's 28k mi. must seem like old age! :laugh: Seriously tho, I think my '04 really hit its stride at 10k mi. - and that was before I installed the PCIII and O2 eliminators. It feels kind of 'settled in' but better at the same time, if that makes any sense.
I got 103 out of mine with a crappy map. I'm going to try Tinyminds and Coyze's maps both to see which makes the most HP. I'm running Tinymind's right now and the only complaint I have is that it seems hard to start. It cranks up and dies after a few seconds. I have to crank it several times before the motor gets enough heat in it to hold an idle. After that everything is great.
I'm running Staintunes with '99 headers and a BMC airfilter.
I wanted a baseline before I do any mods to the engine. I want to see if I'm going in the right direction or not. :biggrin:
I ran Coyze's map on my 06 and it ran great. Once I had mine dyno'd, with a few adjustments made, it ran a 98hp run. I'm running a k&n, PCIII, and Two Brothers. I also don't have the Vtec lunge anymore also.
strange how you don't hear the vtec in the vid.

Somebody please educate me. My '98 upshifts and downshifts effortlessly without using the clutch, though I've only done it a few times. Is this harmful or not? :huh:

Full throttle shifts with no clutch at all. OUCH.
