Matte Finish Clear Coat

I am considering using a matte finish clear coat over a nice metallic silver on my 99, anyone ever use a matte finish?

Just about anything that you can tell me. Does it spray different, last as long, can you do a rattle can two stage job, does it come in single stage? Yeah just about any info is better than what I have right now. I have heard that shooting a matte finish from a rattle can actually turn out good. Hmmmmm too many questions I know.

Gettin closer, that frikkin thing was painted 6 times, :blink: :blink: thats alota base and clear, no scuff and shoot on this one. Gonna be sweet tho, :fing02: just takin time bud.

I have decided to shoot the seat cowl and see how it turns out this if / when I screw it up it will not be that expensive for someone else to fix. Thanks all for the input.

Crap, got a bit :offtopic: , the matte that we use is just an additive in the clear, we shoot Dupont base/clears. We can control how much we "deaden" the clear, sprays the same with or without the matte added.
